Anyone remember this? I saw this video ONCE back in 2000 or so on Much Music, which later became FUSE here in the US. The name of the band is “Live On Release” and the song is I’m Afraid of Britney Spears, but pretty much attacks all of them from that time.
Sometime this last month, this girl dropped me a random line on Youtube. Not knowing who she was I checked it out. It turns out she’s an uber-hot chick who apparently has some dramatic flare as well. She appears to be vlogging somewhat in character of some sort, possibly another Lonelygirl plant or something. You can check her videos out to learn more about her, but right now, the boobs! Don’t turn the volume up when it starts by the way. She starts up music a few seconds in and it gets really loud if you do that. In fact, turn it down, the music is horrible. I suggest picking a good track from your own library. Shake Your Booty by KC and the Sunshine Band works pretty well, as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous by Republica. Shakin’ by Eddie Money works pretty well. It should be pretty obvious by now I just watched the video over and over with different music playing.
She lives in NY btw, we should totally find this chick and challenge her to Wii bowling. Yeah, Wii bowling.
For some reason I really like the music in this game. I also love though how someone actually decided to be creative with the design to make it incredibly hard rather than just spacing jumps really far apart. At the end of the level it becomes funny as hell as whoever is playing the game is afraid to even approach the flag at the end of the level. Supposively, you can download the rom here, but I don’t read the Japanesey. Oh yeah, and Merry Xmas!
As usual, without YTMND, I’d miss some great tunes. This is actually from http://www.myspace.com/bensmithmusic - a group that goes by the moniker, “The Punctuations.”
For those of you who aren’t technologically savvy, Asus came out with a small, light and cheap notebook recently (which runs on Linux, FTW!) called the “Eee PC.” There are several variations of this unit and thanks to the geeks out there, some nice mods. Have a look at this one:
I found this to be interesting. Granted there are probably 200 or so tutorials on the internets but I’m always telling M2J he should create a huge server we can all back stuff up onto. I suppose something in house would be a decent start. Oh. And it’s Linux related and apparently that’s always cool.
This isn’t anything new, however with Christmas right around the corner, I thought it would be a good idea to reflect on the fact vs. fiction aspect of Kris Kringle.
Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be useful for certain websites that I have done and possibly monetizing it. Particularly, a particularly hateful one. However, could be entertaining and useful for other sites. Even ones like Bwoak, whoshouldplaythem, or Amateurtech! Either way, expect this on every site in the world in 2008! All with practically no donations, unless of course they already make a ton of money!
